Empowering  Educators, Transforming Early Learning

We’re On a Mission

Magnolia Education works to ensure every young child has what they need to thrive by investing in the people who teach, nurture, and believe in them.

Howdy,  I’m  Michelle!

Founder & CEO, Magnolia Education

Why Magnolia Education?

For more than 20 years, I’ve had a front-row seat to the extraordinary work of early childhood educators. I’ve also seen how often the people entrusted with our youngest learners are expected to give so much without receiving the support, resources, and recognition they deserve.

That’s why I built Magnolia Education.

My career has taken me from the classroom to coaching educators to leading early childhood programs, and one thing has remained constant: the quality of a child’s early experiences is deeply connected to the people who guide them. When educators have opportunities to learn, reflect, build confidence, and feel valued in their work, that impact reaches far beyond the classroom.

Magnolia Education is my way of investing in those educators—and, through them, in children. I want educators to have support that respects their expertise, builds on what they already do well, and helps them create meaningful experiences for every child in their care.

My commitment to this work is personal, too. I’m a proud Mississippi native and product of public schools, with a Master’s degree in Child and Family Studies from the University of Southern Mississippi. Those roots continue to shape how I think about education, opportunity, and the difference a strong beginning can make.

Today, I call Austin home with my partner and our dog, Marley. When I’m not working alongside educators, you can usually find me reading, baking, volunteering, or enjoying time with the people I love.

I built Magnolia Education because educators deserve someone in their corner—and because every child deserves an early learning experience that opens doors to who they can become.
